GET OUT THE VOTE

As we voted on at the last meeting, along with our last 2 weekends before the election doing our own GOTV, we have chosen four other weekend days between now and then to “Step out for the candidates” Please choose at least 2 of these four dates to plan to walk or call to help our endorsed candidates who have districts a little outside where our group normally walks the last 2 weeks.
The dates and locations are:

Sunday, Sept. 16, Meeting at Susan Wild Office, Westgate Mall, 2285 Schoenersville Rd. Bethlehem, 11-2:30, Walking for Andy Lee, Mark Pinsley and Susan Wild

Saturday Sept. 22, Meeting at NorcoFact headquarters, 563 Georgetown Rd, Lower Nazareth, 10:30-2:30, Walking for Amy Cozze, Dean Donaher, Tarah Probst, and Susan Wild

Saturday, Oct. 6, Meeting at Westgate Office, 10:30-2:30, Walking for Andy Lee, Mark Pinsley, Susan Wild

Sunday, Oct 14, Meeting at Coordinated office, 3900 Hamilton Blvd. 11:00-3, Walking for Jason Ruff, Mark Pinsley ,Susan Wild, and Tarah Probst

The last 2 weekends before the election, we will be holding our own GOTV events from our beloved Union Hall at 53 E. Lehigh St.

AS ALWAYS, WE NEED ALL KINDS OF HELP!
Stuffing literature into bags, both ahead of time and on those days.  Food for the troops! Rides for walkers so they can get a gazillion doors done, and people making calls to remind people to vote! Organizers to help with check in and volunteer coordination and ……. So, find your niche and sign up to help.  Believe me, we will all regret it if we don’t make every effort this year above all others!!  Knowing this group, I know you will be a force to reckon with!!!

Saturdays, October 27 and Nov. 3 we will have 2 GOTV shifts, 10-2 and 2-6

Sundays, October 28 and November 4, 2 GOTV shifts 11-3 and 1-5
But feel free to come whenever you are able.

Election Day – November 6, 2018

We will have about 30 polling locations to cover, many places aren’t allowing signs anymore so a person there is the only way to get the last message to voters before they step in and press the button.  Tuesday November 6 is ELECTION DAY, and we will need about 90 polling location shifts covered!  If there is a way you could take off a day, or half day from work, or schedule some time that day to help, we would be immensely grateful!  The shifts will be 7-11:30, 11:30-3:30, 3:30-8 (or we can work around your schedule as needed!)

Check your schedules now and we will have sign up sheets at the next meeting!!  We will so ROCK this!!
